Fiber Optic Design (FTTx, Contract Negotiations & Quotations)
This Four day unique Course will offer both theoretical and practical skills transfer and will provide participants with essential skills and knowledge necessary to the Design Fiber Optic Networks.
Upon successful completion of this course, Participants will be able to:
• Design Optical networks for given customer needs that incorporate old networks and next generation networks (PON, FTTX, internet etc).
• Plan & Design a long haul fiber optic route.
• Calculate losses in optical fiber networks and how to counter them.
• Negotiate a Contract, make Quotations and handle Tenders.
• Maintenance of an optical network (Trouble shooting and service restoration).
Course outcome:
• Design, Cost and performance of optic fiber communication system.
• Design Optical networks to meet specified capacity, flexibility and reliability requirements.
• Design Optical networks for given customer needs that are compatible to the old traditional networks and next generation networks.
