Job Description

We offer differentials of all kinds, including weekend differentials! No experience required! We offer FREE on site training and testing while you get paid!!! We also offer a bonus of $1,000 after requirements are met! Already credentialed? We off a bonus of $1,000 after requirements are met! Senior Helpers is seeking caregivers to join our team. We are currently looking for caregivers that are interested in filling shifts in Spokane and surrounding areas. Caregivers already credentialed with a home care aide (HCA), certified nursing assistant (CNA), or nursing assistant-registered (NAR) (1163 exempt) are preferred, but these credentials are not a requirement. We offer a FREE 10-day HCA certification program to get you credentialed and you get paid for it. This job is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is a student, retired, looking for supplemental hours, or trying to fill some spare time. Caregivers typically provide companionship and conversation, meal preparation and planning, light housekeeping, medication reminders, transportation to errands and appointments, and personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, and grooming). Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.50 per hour with various differentials offered Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Active HCA, CNA, or NAR (1163 exempt) certification, OR:
  • Willingness to complete the 10-day training program to become credentialed as an HCA
  • Kind, compassionate, and caring demeanor
  • Reliability, responsibility, and punctuality
  • Great communication with staff and clients
  • Pass a background and fingerprint check
  • Your own vehicle, current license and insurance
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to communicate in English (written and verbal)

Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain open communication with seniors, their families, and our staff
  • Assist with personal care
  • Companionship
  • Assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as assigned
