Job Description

Contract Length: 3-5 months (Could extend)

• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing strategic HR guidance while also being willing to dive into day-to-day tasks as needed.
• Partner with leadership on staffing, talent planning, and workforce buildout for new site expansion projects.
• Lead in-person meetings with operational leaders to address business and employee needs.
• Provide expert guidance on HR policies, employee guidelines, and compliance-related matters.
• Support and help lead site safety guideline rollouts and ensure alignment with company-wide safety initiatives.
• Manage open enrollment, benefits-related questions, and ensure smooth administration processes.
• Oversee performance review and merit processes to ensure consistency and fairness.
• Collaborate with Spanish-speaking team members and utilize translation resources when needed to support a heavily Spanish-speaking workforce.
• Serve as a stabilizing presence in a location that has experienced recent HR transitions—building on recent improvements and driving continued progress.
• Act as a key problem solver, trusted HR partner, and collaborative team player who knows when to take initiative and when to escalate issues appropriately.
