Job Description

A cutting-edge medical device company is seeking a Manufacturing Assembly Technician to support the launch of a next-generation system designed to improve cancer therapy. This role combines mechanical assembly , electrical testing , and final calibration for a Class II/III medical device.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll work hands-on with complex systems, contributing to both product development and commercial manufacturing. Pay: $28-$33/hour

What You'll Do:

  • Perform independent assembly, testing, debugging, and calibration of advanced electronic systems and prototypes, following detailed engineering and production guidelines.
  • Follow established procedures related to manufacturing practices and ensure compliance in daily operations.
  • Carry out required maintenance tasks in alignment with documented company procedures.
  • F ollow calibration protocols and ensure compliance with the company's system requirements.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by observing all safety standards and protocols.
  • Assist in managing lot assignments and incoming material receipt in accordance with internal processes.
  • Conduct incoming inspections to verify component and material compliance.
  • Participate in efforts related to the setup and integration of new equipment as needed.
  • Support engineering in building custom components and tools for both production and research applications.
  • Contribute to quality initiatives including non-conformance handling, complaints, audits, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

What We're Looking For:

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in a regulated manufacturing or engineering environment (FDA or ISO 13485 preferred).
  • Proficiency in mechanical assembly , electrical testing , soldering , and PCB rework .
  • Familiarity with documentation requirements and quality systems in medical device manufacturing.
  • Comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs. and working with hand tools and precision instruments.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and test protocols.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Must reside within one hour of Burlington, MA.
