Job Description

We are working with a leading Developer / Builder specializing in high-end residential and commercial developments in their search for a Senior Project Manager. This is a key leadership role with direct oversight of project execution, subcontractor management, cost control, and client communication.

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of the project on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires deep experience in ground-up mixed use construction, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Pre-Construction:

• Collaborate with pre-construction team on budgeting, value engineering, and constructability reviews
• Lead design coordination with architects, engineers, and consultants
• Assist with permitting and approvals

Construction Phase:

• Develop and maintain project schedules using tools such as MS Project or Primavera
• Manage day-to-day site activities in collaboration with the Superintendent
• Oversee subcontractor performance, contract compliance, and coordination
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality control standards
• Conduct regular site meetings and prepare progress reports

Financial & Administrative:

• Manage project budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting
• Review and approve subcontractor invoices and change orders
• Maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and daily reports
• Report project status to executives and clients regularly

Team & Client Relations:

• Lead internal project teams and mentor junior staff
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the owner/developer
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• 5-10+ years of experience in commercial or multifamily construction
• Proven experience with luxury multifamily or high-end residential construction
• Strong knowledge of building systems, codes, and construction practices
• Proficient in project management software (Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, etc.)
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills

Preferred:

• Experience with wood-frame and podium construction
• LEED accreditation or sustainability knowledge
• OSHA 30 certification
